About the 10% CommitteeThe 10% Committee is a unique part of the NVU-Lyndon community formed back in 2015. The committee was formed as a Dean of Student's action to separate 10% of the Student Activities Fee Revenue to target campus improvement projects and program ideas that could directly benefit large groups of students. The committee is comprised of four individuals; Dean of Students, SGA Financial Controller, and two student representatives. The Dean of Students chairs and oversees the committee while the SGA financial controller is a non-voting member that ensures the 10% committee does not exceed their 10% appropriation from the student activities fee account. As for the two student representatives, they suggest and approve projects by a 2:1 majority and are appointed by the financial controller.
