Lyndon's chapter of AMS/NWA encourages fellowship among members, stimulates awareness and interest in meteorology and activities, and shares of knowledge of the science of meteorology. This club often brings speakers to campus, manages a national meteorology conference, and organizes other Lyndon traditions such as the annual talent show, fall and spring BBQs, and more.

Northeastern Storm Conference:
The annual Northeastern Storm Conference is an opportunity for students, professors, scientists and other professionals to share and learn about the latest weather and climate research. The Northeastern Storm Conference is the longest-running and largest student-run weather conference in the nation. Over 300 people attend each year!
