2019-2020 Elected Representative Elections

If you are interested in pursuing an Elected Representative position, you can download a petition at the link below or you can stop by the SALC office and pick one up. Once you have the necessary 50 signatures, you can email LyndonSGA@NorthernVermont.edu​ requesting to be added to the next agenda. At the designated meeting, you will need to explain to the SGA why you are interested in being an elected representative and they will vote you in to the position at that time.

LyndonSGA@NorthernVermont.edu​. For more specific information on these positions, please see Article IV of the SGA Constitution. The structure of the Elected Representatives is as follows:

  • *5 Representatives from each Lyndon class/year
  • *5 Commuter representatives
  • *3 Non-traditional representatives
  • *1 International student representative

*Elected Representatives can receive up to $500 compensation (new for 2019-2020) at the end of their year-long term.

2019-2020 SGA Executive Board Positions

At this time, elections are over for executive board positions, however there are still vacancies on the executive board. If you are interested in pursuing an executive board position during the 2019-2020 academic year, you must schedule a brief meeting with the Assistant Director of Student Life for Student Activities, Mike Secreti, as well as complete the petition at the link below. Once you have the necessary 150 signatures, you can e-mail LyndonSGA@NorthernVermont.edu​ requesting to be added to the next agenda. At the designated meeting, you will need to explain your interest and qualifications to the SGA and at this time they will vote you in to the position at that time.

Vacant positions for 2019-2020:​
  • *Administrative Vice President: Calls roll at the beginning of all SGA meetings; maintains all necessary correspondence and records; makes and distributes SGA meeting minutes and agendas to the SGA prior to SGA meetings; promote and educate the student body of all SGA activities within the Lyndon community.

*Executive Board members can receive up to $1500 compensation (new for 2019-2020) at the end of their year-long term.
